New Delhi: Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi met Telangana Chief Minister Designate Revanth Reddy and congratulated him. Reddy, who is also Party President of the State is all set to take oath as Chief Minister of Telangana tomorrow. Reddy, CM Designate also met Congress Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Rahul shared pictures from their meeting at his X handle.
It is also speculated that Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi will also take part in the swearing ceremony of CM Designate which is scheduled for tomorrow. Congress won an absolute majority in Telangana for the first time, winning 64 of 119 seats whereas lost its ground in Rajasthan and Chhatisgarh to BJP.
In a post, he said, “Congratulations to Telangana’s CM Designate, @revanth_anumula. Under his leadership, the Congress govt will fulfill all its Guarantees to the people of Telangana and build a Prajala Sarkar.”

Reddy also met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge at his residence in Delhi. In a post on X, he said “Cordially met honourable Congress President Shri @kharge ji and congratulated on the victory in the Telangana state. I express my gratitude for trusting me with the responsibility of the state.”
