New Delhi, August 12: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said on Tuesday, “There is not just one seat but many seats where voter lists are being tampered with. This is being done systematically at the national level.”

On the question of 124-year-old ‘first time’ voter Minta Devi in the updated voter list of Bihar, Rahul said- Yes, I have heard about her. There is not just one but unlimited such cases. The picture is yet to be revealed.

Rahul said-

“There are several seats. It is being done systematically at the national level. The Election Commission knows this, and we also know it. Earlier, there was no proof, but now we have the proof…”

Opposition MPs arrive in Parliament wearing T-shirts with ‘Minta Devi’s’ picture on them

In fact, the opposition created a ruckus in both the houses of Parliament on Tuesday too demanding a discussion on Bihar SIR. Due to this, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha could not function.

Before the start of the House proceedings, India Block MPs, including Priyanka Gandhi, arrived at Makar Dwar wearing T-shirts bearing the name and picture of Minta Devi.

The opposition claims that Minta Devi is a 124-year-old first-time voter in the Bihar Election Commission’s voter list.
