Shimla: The weather has changed in Himachal Pradesh. Rain has started in Kangra district. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert warning of rain and thunder in all the districts of the state. At present, a drop in temperature is being recorded. But after two days the temperature will rise again and the heat will bother.
According to IMD, most of the high and mid altitude areas of the state are likely to receive rain. Yesterday, the department had issued an orange alert for heavy rain, hailstorm and storm for many districts. However, light rain occurred at some places and the weather remained clear or cloudy at most places.
The weather department has predicted that the weather in the state will become clear from tomorrow. The effect of the western disturbance which has been active since April 16 will weaken from today.
The temperature will drop by 5 degrees
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a change in temperature after the rain. Today and tomorrow the maximum temperature may fall by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature will also fall by 2 to 4 degrees. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 36.8 degrees in Una and 35.6 degrees Celsius in Bilaspur.
The maximum temperature recorded in Keylong was 13.1 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, after the weather remains clear for the next two to three days, the temperature will rise again.
