In another development, the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Manyam Narsimha Reddy, a Revenue Inspector at the Dubbaka Tahsildar Office in Siddipet district, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1 lakh. ACB officials reported that Reddy was caught in the act at approximately 6:50 PM on February 12 while receiving the bribe at Laxmi Tea Point near BJR Circle, Siddipet. The bribe was purportedly solicited to facilitate the transfer of Patta land ownership from Raji Reddy to Kumbham Sujatha, involving survey numbers 257, 259, 266, 275, and 287, which total 3.25 acres in Appanapalli village, Dubbaka Mandal. Officials recovered the marked cash from him, and a chemical test confirmed the presence of bribe money on his left hand. The ACB indicated that Reddy had exploited his official position for personal gain. After his arrest, he was presented before the Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases in Nampally, Hyderabad, and the investigation is ongoing.
