New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders on hailed the Supreme Court’s order granting bail to Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in the corruption case linked to the excise policy scam. Saying that its a victory of the truth, party leaders and workers were seen celebrating as soon as the verdict came out. The Supreme Court paved the way for the release of Arvind Kejriwal by granting bail in the case of CBI. Delivering the verdict, SC upheld the arrest by CBI but also granted bail.
AAP leader Raghav Chadha said in a post on X, “Welcome back Arvind Kejriwal, we missed you! Truth can be troubled but not defeated! Finally, the Honourable Supreme Court has given its decision to release Delhi’s son Arvind Kejriwal from the shackles of jail. Thanks to the Honorable Supreme Court!”

In display of celebration of the apex court verdict, AAP leaders have changed their profile pictures to picture of Manish Sisodia and Arvind Kejriwal together with a message of ‘Satyamev Jayate’.
Raghav Chadha while interacting with media said, “I thank the Supreme Court… He (Arvind Kejriwal) is not just a name, but a brand of honest politics. He had to go to jail for 6 months because of his increasing popularity… AAP will get more strength… I welcome the decision… Welcome Back Arvind Kejriwal… We will make the further strategy after reading the final order of the Supreme Court to understand the conditions under which the bail has been given… There is a wave of joy in Delhi and the country… Arvind Kejriwal will lead the campaign for the AAP in the upcoming Haryana elections now.”
In another video which is getting viral, AAP leaders including Manish Sisodia and Atishi can be seen watching the live telecast of hearing. The leaders celebrated with joy as soon as the court granted bail to Arvind Kejriwal. The video was posted on the official handle of Aam Aadmi Party. Other party leaders and workers were seen dancing and distributing sweets after the verdict of SC was delivered. Supreme Court granted a conditions applied bail to Arvind Kejriwal barring him from making public statements on the matter. SC upheld the arrest by CBI but also agreed to grant bail in the case.
