School children are also facing a lot of problems. People are using umbrellas to escape the heat.

There is no relief from the heat in plains at the moment

The weather department has predicted that there is no possibility of rain in the plains at the moment. However, light to moderate rain has been predicted in some places in the hilly districts of the state.

The weather department says that there may be light rain at some places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts. But there will be no relief from the heat in the plain districts for now.

Dehradun’s temperature crossed 38 degrees

Director of Meteorological Department Vikram Singh said that mercury is rising due to strong sunlight in the plains of Uttarakhand. Due to which the maximum temperature of Dehradun is above 37 degrees.

While the minimum temperature has been estimated at 22 degrees. At the same time, the maximum temperature in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar is above 38 degrees. There is a possibility of further increase in heat in the plains in the coming days.

There are also chances of strong winds

He said that light to moderate rain may occur at some places in the five hill districts of the state. A yellow alert has been issued for this. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder at some places in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh. Along with this, strong winds have also been predicted.
