New Delhi: In a tragic incident, Two Delhi Police cops died after they rammed into a truck near the Kundli border in Haryana’s Sonipat, an official said on Tuesday.
The accident occurred on Monday night at around 11.30 p.m. and the victims were both of the Inspector rank. According to the information, the policemen’s car was shattered after the collision with the Truck.
The collision was so severe that both the inspectors were left trapped in the car. As per police officials Foggy weather can be the reason behind collision.
“The two were rushed to a nearby hospital where they were declared brought dead,” the official said.
The accident took place as the car collided with the truck. The deceased Delhi Police officials have been identified as Dinesh Beniwal and ATO Inspector Ranveer. Beniwal was special staff of the Northwest district and an ATO inspector was stationed at Adarsh Nagar Police station. The car collided when the two officials were on the way back home.
