This incident follows another stone-pelting attack on October 4, when the Vande Bharat Express traveling from Patna to Tatanagar was targeted in Jharkhand. Thankfully, no passengers were injured, but the safety and security of the railway network have come under scrutiny. Authorities are conducting investigations to identify the culprits and prevent similar incidents in the future.
