A 15-year-old student who wanted to become a doctor, Heer Ghetia, died on May 15, just four days after the result. Due to this painful incident, a mountain of grief has fallen on the family and everyone is not stopping themselves from getting emotional after learning about this incident. Heer had cleared the 10th board exam with 99.7% marks and scored 100 out of 100 in Mathematics subject.

Heer, a resident of Morbi, suffered a brain haemorrhage a month ago and underwent an operation at a private hospital in Rajkot, after which Heer was discharged. But then due to breathing and heart problems, Heer was admitted to the ICU of the trust-run BT Swani Hospital in Rajkot, where a brain MRI report revealed that 80 to 90 percent of Heer’s brain is not working.

Heer’s family says that their daughter could not become a doctor but the she will help the students who are going to become doctors even after her death.
Her family decided to donate Heer’s body and organs. The family not only donated both of Heer’s eyes, but also donated Heer’s body to help educate future doctors practicing medicine at the medical college. The attitude shown by Heer’s family towards the society by donating their organs is an example and will inspire others to donate their organs.
