Swati Maliwal assault case: NCW summons Delhi CM PA, Bibhav Kumar

The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Thursday issued summons to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's PA Bibhav Kumar in the case of assault on AAP MP Swati Maliwal.

New Delhi : The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Thursday issued summons to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav Kumar in the case of assault on AAP MP Swati Maliwal.

The Commission has called Bibhav tomorrow at 11 am. On the other hand, Additional CP and Additional DCP of Special Cell of Delhi Police have reached the house of AAP MP Swati Maliwal in North Delhi.

On the morning of 13 May, Swati Maliwal had gone to CM Arvind Kejriwal’s house. During this, Bibhav Kumar assaulted Swati. AAP MP Sanjay Singh had also admitted that Swati was mistreated.


Ex-husband’s claim – Swati Maliwal’s life is in danger, Kejriwal’s PA misbehaved on someone’s request.

A day ago, Maliwal’s ex-husband Naveen Jaihind claimed that Swati’s life is in danger. Whatever happened to Swati was planned. Naveen said, ‘Swati should come forward and present her side.’ Apart from this, he said about AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, ‘I was listening to Sanjay Singh’s press conference and I want to tell him that he should stop acting in front of the camera, because he knew the whole matter.’

Sanjay Singh had confessed on Tuesday (May 14) that there was indecency with Swati Maliwal at the Chief Minister’s residence. He told the media – A very condemnable incident happened on May 13. Swati Maliwal had reached Arvind Kejriwal’s residence in the morning to meet him and was waiting for Kejriwal in the drawing room. Meanwhile the Chief Minister’s PA Bibhav Kumar reached there and misbehaved with him.

Sanjay Singh said- Delhi CM has taken cognizance of this entire incident. They will take strict action in this matter. As far as Swati Maliwal is concerned, she has done a lot for the country and society. He is one of the senior and old leaders. We are with them.
