Three new trains introduced in Vande Bharat train fleet, PM Modi flags off

New Delhi: Three new trains were welcomed in the fleet of the country’s state-of-the-art semi-high-speed train Vande Bharat today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off these trains through video conferencing. These new Vande Bharat trains will run between Madurai to Bengaluru, Chennai to Nagercoil, and Meerut to Lucknow. Vande Bharat trains are becoming very popular.

New Delhi: Three new trains were welcomed in the fleet of the country’s state-of-the-art semi-high-speed train Vande Bharat today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off these trains through video conferencing. These new Vande Bharat trains will run between Madurai to Bengaluru, Chennai to Nagercoil, and Meerut to Lucknow.

Vande Bharat trains are becoming very popular among passengers due to their comfortable and fast journey. Currently, 102 Vande Bharat trains connect more than 280 districts of the country.

Vande Bharat trains are being manufactured at a rapid pace and as their racks are being prepared, they are being deployed on important routes that are in demand by passengers. In this episode, three more trains joined the Vande Bharat fleet today.

 New routes between important cities
The Vande Bharat train launched between Madurai and Bengaluru will connect Madurai, famous for the Meenakshi Devi temple, and the tech hub Bengaluru. The train running between Chennai and Nagercoil will ease traffic between these two cities. At the same time, the train between Meerut and Lucknow will connect two historical and important cities of Uttar Pradesh.

 Relief for passengers
Vande Bharat trains provide a new experience to the passengers due to their high speed and state-of-the-art facilities. With the help of these trains, the journey of passengers brings reduction in time and increase in comfort. In the coming time, sleeper coaches will also be started in Vande Bharat trains, which will provide more convenience to passengers in long-distance travel.

Expansion of Vande Bharat
The first train of Vande Bharat was started on February 15, 2019 between New Delhi and Varanasi. Since then, the number of these trains and their reach is continuously increasing. With the operation of these new trains, traveling between many important cities of the country will become even easier.

Railways plans to soon operate Vande Bharat trains widely across the country. Along with this, Vande Bharat trains with sleeper coaches are also likely to be operated soon, which will further speed up long-distance travel. This scheme is an important step towards modernization of railways and improving the passenger experience. With these new trains, the expansion of the Vande Bharat train fleet has become even stronger, and it will set a new standard for Indian Railways in the times to come
