Dehradun, May 29: A car crashed on the Dehradun-Mussoorie road and fell into a 300-meter deep gorge. The incident is said to have taken place around 2 am. The accident took place near Glogi, ahead of Jhadipani in the Mussoorie Kotwali area. Two people died on the spot in the incident.
While one person saved his life by jumping out of the car, he was admitted to the hospital in an injured state. This injured person informed the police about the incident.
As soon as the information was received, the police and SDRF team reached the spot. Where the rescue team has taken out the bodies of both persons from the deep ditch.

According to the police, there were only three youths in the car, all three are said to be residents of Dehradun. Among the deceased were Saurabh Trikha, son of Subhash Trikha, and Kartik Trikha, son of late Kailash Trikha, residents of Sevak Ashram Road, Dehradun.
The injured person, Anshuman, also hails from Dehradun. He was taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. Due to the darkness at night, the rescue team had to work hard.
Everyone had gone to visit Mussoorie, the accident happened on the way back
According to the police, all of them had come to Mussoorie from Dehradun for a trip. While returning to Dehradun, their car lost control and fell into a ditch near Jhadi Paani in Glogi.
On receiving information about the incident, the relatives of the deceased also reached the spot. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the mortuary for further action.
