New Delhi: Day after the results of Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi today expressed his thanks to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the INDIA bloc’s victory. Rahul Gandhi also reacted to Haryana’s results which came as a shocker for Congress. LoP said that the party is analyzing the ‘unexpected results’ and will lodge their concerns with Election Commission.

In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi expressed his gratitude to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said, “My heartfelt thanks to the people of Jammu and Kashmir – India’s victory in the state is a victory of the Constitution, a victory of democratic self-respect.” Congress which contested the election in alliance with JKN is all set to form their government. The alliance of Congress plus NC won 49 seats, securing a majority comfortably. NC won 42 seats whereas Congress managed to win 7 seats.
Congress leader’s tweet further noted Haryana’s result which came as a shocker for the entire Congress. Defying the exit polls, which predicted a complete majority for Congress, BJP won 48 seats securing a third term in the state.
He said, “We are analysing the unexpected results of Haryana. We will inform the Election Commission about the complaints coming from many assembly constituencies.” He said that Congress will inform the Election Commission about complaints coming from assembly constituencies. Yesterday, Congress leaders alleged a mismatch between data of polling and that on website of EC.
Rahul further thanked party workers and said that they will continue to fight against the injustices.
