Dehradun, May 29: Five more new cases of corona virus have been reported in Uttarakhand. Now the total number of corona patients in the state has increased to 10.
Out of these, 6 patients are still corona active. They are being treated in different hospitals. One patient is admitted in Mahant Indresh Hospital in Dehradun.
While the other five patients have been kept in home isolation. The new cases include two doctors and a staff nurse of Rishikesh AIIMS.
Rapid rest and RTPCR testing increased in the state
In view of the potential threat of corona, rapid tests and ITPCR tests are being conducted on suspected patients in the state. Under this, 19 patients were tested for corona on Wednesday.
In which Coronavirus has been confirmed in 5 patients. Out of these, two patients are residents of the state itself. While the other three patients have returned after travelling to Hyderabad, Bengaluru and one to Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh. Now the number of active cases in the state is 6.
Health The department appealed to everyone to be cautious
The health department has become alert after five new cases of corona were reported in the state. Everyone has been instructed to remain alert.
Instructions have been given to increase rapid tests and ITPCR tests in the state. Suspected patients coming on a journey have also been asked to be tested.
Also, all medical units have been instructed to remain on alert mode. The health department has appealed to all people to be cautious.
