Dehradun, May 1: There are chances of a change in weather once again in Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for rain as well as strong winds in four districts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds and hailstorms will occur in some parts of Dehradun, Pauri, Nainital and Champawat districts.
The Meteorological Department says that an alert has been issued for winds blowing at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometres per hour in these four districts. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain with strong winds in some places in other districts of the state as well.
Alert issued in Haridwar and Udhamsingh Nagar too
Apart from this, an orange alert has been issued for winds blowing at a speed of 70 kmph in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the activation of Western disturbance in the state once again, weather changes will be seen in most parts of the state from May 1 to May 5.

Meteorologist Rohit Thapaliya said that there are chances of change in weather in the state from May 1. During this period, there is a possibility of hailstorm along with strong winds, especially in Dehradun, Pauri, Champawat and Nainital districts.
He said that this activity will increase further on May 2. Due to which there is a possibility of a hailstorm along with rain in some hilly areas of the state.
Rohit Thapliyal says that an alert has been issued for rain, hailstorm and strong winds in most parts of the state till May 5. He said that due to this, a drop in temperature will be recorded in the plain districts of the state.
