On Thursday, a woman was shot during a dispute among her relatives at her home in the Seelampur area of Delhi, according to police reports. Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident. The victim, identified as Sadiya, resides in Saheed Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and is married to Zeeshan, who lives in Loha Market, Welcome, Delhi. She had ongoing disputes with Zeeshan and his family. On the day of the incident, Sadiya invited her four brothers—Tafseer, Shahzad, Gulrej, and Muntahir—to her in-laws’ house in Seelampur.
Officials indicated that a quarrel erupted between Sadiya’s family and her in-laws during this visit. During the altercation, Muntahir reportedly fired a gun, which accidentally struck Saadma, the wife of Javed, causing a single entry wound to her abdomen. Saadma is currently receiving treatment at GTB Hospital. All four suspects have been apprehended at the scene, and further investigations are ongoing.
