Woman stabbed to death by husband’s second wife in Delhi

New Delhi: In Delhi’s Jamia Nagar area, a woman was killed after being stabbed by her husband’s second wife. Police found her body with multiple stab wounds on the fourth floor of a flat. The victim, Nasbu, was married to Ansar Khan, who has two wives—Afasri and Nasbu—both living in the same residence while Ansar.

New Delhi: In Delhi’s Jamia Nagar area, a woman was killed after being stabbed by her husband’s second wife. Police found her body with multiple stab wounds on the fourth floor of a flat. The victim, Nasbu, was married to Ansar Khan, who has two wives—Afasri and Nasbu—both living in the same residence while Ansar Khan was in Saudi Arabia. No forced entry was reported, and the injuries were mainly on her neck and stomach. Afsari and her two children admitted to the crime, citing ongoing conflicts and insecurity as motives. A murder case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.

In a separate incident, a 30-year-old delivery worker named Dharmendra was stabbed by two robbers on Sunday. The assailants, riding a scooter, intercepted him on DBG Road, stole his mobile phone and Rs. 4,000, and when he resisted, pierced him in the stomach. Dharmendra was hospitalized and is receiving treatment, with efforts underway to catch the culprits.

Additionally, a 32-year-old woman, Menaka Singh, was reportedly strangled to death in Baljeet Nagar on Saturday. Police confirmed her murder and revealed that Menaka, a homemaker whose husband works in a furniture store, was killed by Dharmendra Kumar, aged 28. He has since been arrested.
