In a separate event, while inaugurating the Sifi Data Centre in Greater Noida on Saturday, CM Yogi Adityanath highlighted the state’s significant strides in business development. He mentioned that Uttar Pradesh has introduced 33 sector-specific policies aimed at fostering business growth.

Adityanath noted, “We have formulated policies aligned with the technological demands of the modern era, specifically targeting the youth, through research and development. This is part of our big leap in improving the ease of doing business.” He also revealed that UP has secured investments worth Rs 15 lakh crore, creating millions of jobs for the state’s youth. As a top-performing state, UP is establishing more than 500 single-window systems to ease business operations, and the Nivesh Sarathi portal will be used to monitor Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs).

The CM also emphasized that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the largest hub for IT and electronics in India, especially in Noida and Greater Noida. “Uttar Pradesh is now manufacturing 65 to 70 percent of the country’s mobile phones and 55 percent of mobile components,” Adityanath said. He expressed hope that an artificial intelligence data center would soon be inaugurated in Lucknow, further boosting the state’s tech capabilities.
