Bhupesh Baghel Confirms Navjot Kaur Sidhu’s Expulsion from Congress

Chandigarh: Punjab Congress in-charge and former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has clarified that Navjot Kaur Sidhu has been expelled from the Congress party. Today, he reached the residence of Dr. Raj Kumar Verka in Amritsar, where he spoke to the media. Baghel said that party discipline is above all and action is mandatory against those leaders who work by deviating from the party line.

While talking to the media, Bhupesh Baghel sharply attacked the MNREGA changes made by the Modi government. He said that the new laws of the central government are going to take away the rights of the poor, laborers and weaker sections standing at the last level of society. Baghel reminded that during the time of Sonia Gandhi and Dr. Manmohan Singh, many laws were made with rights for the laborers and the poor, but the current government is weakening them.

He said that under the leadership of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, this fight will be fought from the streets to Parliament. Bhupesh Baghel claimed that the Congress party stands firmly for the rights of the people of Punjab and will intensify its fight against crime, drugs and mafia rule.
