Navratri sees throngs of devotees at Shaktipeeths, 1.2 lakh devotees visit

On Sunday, the fourth day of Chaitra Navratri, massive crowds of devotees were seen at the major Shaktipeeths in the state. Long queues formed at the temples to have darshan of the Mother Goddess, and approximately 1.20 lakh devotees paid obeisance.

 Offerings worth crores collected at temples

A total of ₹41.35 lakh in cash was offered at major Shaktipeeths, including Chintpurni, Jwala Ji, Naina Devi, Bajreshwari Devi, and Chamunda Devi temples. The highest amount of offerings, amounting to ₹14.53 lakh, was received at the Naina Devi temple, where approximately 28,000 devotees visited.

Around 30,000 devotees paid obeisance at the Chintpurni Temple, 42,000 at the Jwala Ji Temple, 12,000 at the Bajreshwari Devi Temple, and 8,000 at the Chamunda Devi Temple. The enthusiasm and devotion of the devotees at all temples was palpable.

50,000 devotees arrived at Deotsidh

A large crowd also gathered at the Baba Balaknath Temple in Deotsidh, where approximately 50,000 devotees visited. Devotees from India and abroad chanted Baba’s praises and arrived in groups to offer prayers.
