NCB Offers ₹25,000 Reward for Three Fugitive Drug Smugglers from Moga and Mandi

Chandigarh: The Chandigarh unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has announced a reward for the arrest of three absconding drug smugglers. Two of the accused are from Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh and one is from Moga district of Punjab. The NCB has announced a reward of ₹25,000 for information leading to the arrest of these three persons. The bureau has clarified that the identity of the informant will be kept completely confidential.

Reward announced for three smugglers

According to the NCB, these three accused are wanted in serious drug smuggling cases and have been absconding for a long time. Several raids have been conducted to nab them, but no success has been achieved so far.

Moga accused wanted in 1.850 kg hashish case

The first accused is Sunny Moga, a resident of Ward No. 23, Vishwakarma Nagar, Police Station South, Moga. Sunny is involved in the case of seizure of 1.850 kg hashish. The court has declared him a fugitive offender (PO). The NCB has announced a reward of ₹25,000 for his arrest.

Two accused from Mandi are also absconding.

The second accused, Ramesh Kumar, is a resident of village Bal Dhar, Padhar (Mandi), Himachal Pradesh. 1.850 kg of hashish was recovered from him, and he has also been declared a fugitive by the court.

The third accused, Rupesh Kumar, is a resident of Mandi district. A reward has also been announced for his arrest.

Despite the raids, no leads have been found.

NCB teams have conducted several raids in the respective areas to nab these accused, but they have not been found yet. The agency says that the family members of the accused are also not cooperating, due to which the decision to announce the reward has been taken.
