Days before phase one polling, the NDA released its manifesto for the Bihar Assembly elections on Friday. The NDA has promised to create 10 million jobs and provide financial assistance of up to 2 lakh rupees to women. Furthermore, the goal is to make 10 million women ‘Lakhpati Didi’.
Free education from KG to PG for the poor has also been promised. The temple of Maa Janaki will be completed in the next five years. The area will be developed as ‘Sitapuram’. Metro service will be launched in four cities in Bihar in the future.
Top leaders launch manifesto
Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Minister and HAM(S) leader Jitan Ram Manjhi, Union Minister and LJP-Ram Vilas National President Chirag Paswan, and RLM National President Upendra Kushwaha released the manifesto at Hotel Maurya in Patna.
With the release of the manifesto, senior leaders set out for election campaigning. Samrat Chaudhary alone provided all the information about the manifesto to the media.
Financial help of Rs 10 Lakh for Extremely backward: Dy CM Samrat
Addressing the press conference, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said, “Financial and social empowerment of Extremely Backward Classes is very important. Different categories of Extremely Backward Classes will be given financial help of Rs 10 Lakhs. The most important thing is that under the chairmanship of a retired Supreme Court judge, we will form a high-level committee which will assess the social and financial conditions of different communities under Extremely Backward Classes and make suggestions to the govt for the upliftment of these communities.”
Bihar Polls
The voting for the 243-seat Bihar Assembly will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11, whereas bye-elections for eight seats across seven states and Union Territories will be held on November 11. The results for both will be declared on November 14.
