Rajasthan: The Bival family of Sikar district in Rajasthan has come under the scanner of investigative agencies in the NEET paper leak case that has become a topic of discussion across the country. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Dinesh Bival, his brother Mangilal Bival, and Mangilal’s son Vikas Bival in the case.
Investigative agencies suspect that the family helped distribute the leaked paper to students.
Son received the alleged leaked paper, yet scored only 107 marks
According to the investigation, Dinesh Bival purchased the allegedly leaked NEET-UG 2026 paper from Yash Yadav of Haryana for 15 lakh rupees. It is alleged that he purchased this paper for his son Rishi.
Despite receiving the paper, Rishi only scored 107 marks in the exam. According to officials, Rishi was an average student and scored only 43.6 percent in 10th grade.
Selection of multiple members of the same family raises suspicion
According to investigating agencies, five members of the Bival family successfully passed NEET 2025 and secured admission to government medical colleges. Officials say the family members’ previous academic records were average, so this sudden success raised suspicion.
Agencies are now also investigating whether the family took advantage of paper leaks in previous years.
Allegation of selling leaked paper for Rs 30 lakh
Investigation has revealed that Dinesh Bival allegedly obtained the leaked paper, scanned its copy, and circulated it digitally. It is alleged that the family sold the same paper to several students in Sikar for approximately Rs 30 lakh.
