    Railways to Run ‘Special Trains’ for NEET Exam; 611 Centres Across 27 Districts, Jaipur Gets the Most

    Regarding the NEET UG exam to be held on May 3, Railways will run special trains in Rajasthan. Keeping the convenience of the examinees in mind, the Railways has made special arrangements to run unreserved exam special trains on the Jaipur-Alwar and Churu-Jaipur routes.

    Senior DCM of Jaipur Division, Pooja Mittal, said – Considering the NEET exam, Northwestern Railway has decided to run two unreserved special trains, one for each trip, for the convenience of passengers. This will provide relief to the students coming to take the exam and their families.

    For NEET, 611 examination centers have been set up in 27 districts of the state.

    Churu-Jaipur Special Train on May 3

    Train number 09717 Churu-Jaipur Unreserved Exam Special Train will depart from Churu Junction on May 3 at 6:10 AM. The train will pass through Sikar and reach Jaipur by 11 AM. On the route, it will have stops at Bisau, Ramgarh Shekhawati, Fatehpur Shekhawati, Laxmangarh, Palsana, Reengus, Govindgarh Malikpur, Chaumoo Samod, and Dhehar ka Balaji stations.

    Jaipur-Alwar Special Train will depart in the evening

    Train number 09719 Jaipur-Alwar Unreserved Exam Special Train will depart from Jaipur Junction at 7:10 PM and reach Alwar at 10:55 PM. This train will stop at Gandhinagar Jaipur, Gator Jagtpura, Khatipura, Bassi, Dausa, Bandikui, Baswa, Rajgarh, and Malakheda stations.

    Both trains will have 12 coaches each

    According to the railway—each of the two special trains will have a total of 12 coaches, including 10 general class and 2 guard coaches, so that more passengers can have travel convenience.

    It is worth mentioning that for the exam to be held on May 3, 611 examination centers have been set up in 27 districts of the state. Around 209,000 candidates will take the exam. The exam will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM. Jaipur, Sikar, and Kota have once again been major exam centers. The maximum number of 106 exam centers have been set up in Jaipur, while a large number of candidates will also appear for the exam in Sikar and Kota. During the exam, the administration has implemented strict guidelines regarding security, traffic arrangements, entry process, and dress code.

    Tight Security Arrangements at Exam Centers

    Security measures have been increased in all districts regarding NEET. Police personnel will be deployed at exam centers, and candidates will be allowed entry only after proper checks. Mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, and electronic items will be completely prohibited.

    Administration’s Focus on Traffic and SOPs

    On the day of the exam, traffic plans will be implemented in major cities so that candidates do not face difficulties in reaching the centers on time. Separate teams will be deployed for crowd control and parking arrangements near exam centers. The administration has advised candidates to reach the centers well in advance.

    Maximum 106 Exam Centers in Jaipur

    In the capital Jaipur, 106 exam centers have been set up. Additionally, Sikar and Kota have also emerged as major hubs for exams, where a large number of students will take the exam.

    Guidelines also issued regarding dress code and essential items

    NTA has also issued instructions regarding dress code and essential items for candidates appearing for the NEET exam:

    – Candidates can carry a transparent water bottle to the examination center.
    – Wearing clothes or items related to religious beliefs will be allowed.
    – Candidates must reach the center in advance so that the checking process can be completed.
    – Light clothing is advised.
    – Full sleeve clothing will also be allowed if necessary.
    – Preference has been given to wearing slippers or low-heeled sandals in footwear.
