Many students across the country are facing difficulties in filling the application form for the NEET UG exam as the website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) is not working properly.

Today is the last date to submit the form, but due to continuous technical problems on the website, several students are worried about missing the deadline.

Students have been visiting e-Mitra centres and waiting for hours in the hope that the website will start working so they can complete their applications. However, because of repeated errors on the site, many of them have been forced to return without submitting their forms.

Students Demand Extension of Deadline

Students have urged the central government and the NTA to fix the website issues immediately. They are also requesting that the deadline for filling the NEET application form be extended.

They say that if the deadline is not extended and they fail to submit the form because of the website problem, they may lose an entire academic year. Many students have asked who will take responsibility if their year gets wasted due to these technical issues.

Students Share Their Frustration

Student Durga Suthar said she has been preparing for the NEET exam for almost a year. She lives in Pal and has been trying to fill the form for the last four days, but the website has not been working.

She said if she is unable to submit the form this time, all her hard work and preparation for the past year will go to waste.

Another student, Tamanna Beniwal, who lives near Ashok Udyan, said she has been visiting an e-Mitra centre for the past five days to fill out the NEET form. She spends hours waiting for the website to work, but every time the site shows an error.

She appealed to the central government to extend the deadline so that students like her do not lose a year despite preparing hard for the exam.

Website Issues Affect Thousands of Students

Sonu Singh, a computer operator at an e-Mitra centre, said the NEET application website has been facing technical problems for the past 10 to 15 days.

According to him, more than 50 students visit the centre every day to fill the form, but many of them are unable to complete it because the website keeps showing errors. Even after waiting for hours, students have to leave without submitting their applications.

He added that they keep the e-Mitra centre open until late at night hoping the website will start working, but the problem still continues.

The NEET application process started on February 8, and today, March 8, is the last date to submit the forms. Students are now hoping that authorities will fix the issue soon or extend the deadline to prevent their year from being wasted.
