NEET UG 2026 Exam Today at 2 PM: Check Reporting Time, Important Documents and Exam Day Guidelines

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET UG 2026 examination today, May 3, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in a single shift across exam centres in India and abroad. Candidates are advised to follow all exam-day instructions carefully to avoid last-minute issues.

Reporting Time and Entry Schedule

Entry to NEET UG 2026 examination centres will begin at 11:00 AM. Candidates must note that no entry will be allowed after 1:30 PM under any circumstances. Test booklets will be distributed around 1:45 PM before the exam begins.

Important Documents to Carry

Candidates appearing for the examination must carry the following mandatory documents:

• Printed copy of NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
• Passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in application form)
• Valid government-issued photo ID proof
• PwBD certificate/physical limitation certificate, if applicable

Without these documents, candidates may be denied entry into the examination centre.

Dress Code and Allowed Items

NTA has advised candidates to wear simple, light-coloured clothes with half sleeves. Shoes, heavy jewellery, metallic accessories, and high heels should be avoided. Only permitted items such as transparent water bottles and required documents should be carried.

Strict Security and Biometric Verification

Candidates may undergo frisking and biometric verification before entry. NTA has also urged aspirants to ensure their Aadhaar biometric details are updated for smooth verification at centres.

Students are advised to reach the centre early, carry only permitted items, and follow all instructions printed on the admit card. Any violation of exam-day rules may lead to disqualification.
