New twist in Shankaracharya case: Accuser Ashutosh Brahmachari retracts his claims

Mathura: Ashutosh Brahmachari Maharaj, who filed a sexual harassment case against Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda, has now retracted his own allegations. In a video released on Tuesday, he claimed that he was pressured into filing a fake FIR against Shankaracharya.

‘FIR filed under duress’

Ashutosh Brahmachari alleged that Ramchandra Das, successor to Jagadguru Rambhadracharya, misled him and forced him into the case. He said that some officials were also involved in the conspiracy and that he has evidence and WhatsApp chats related to this. He promised to reveal the entire matter soon.

Serious allegations made against Ramchandra Das

Ashutosh made serious allegations against Ramchandra Das, calling him a “sinner, a hypocrite, and a fraud.” He claimed that Ramchandra Das had taken over the Shri Dev Baba Ji Ashram through a forged will. He threatened to send a complaint to the Mathura SSP and threatened to approach the court if no action was taken.

‘Ramchandra Das will be held responsible if his guru is harmed’

Ashutosh Brahmachari stated that he respects Jagadguru Rambhadracharya and that if any harm comes to his guru, Ramchandra Das will be held responsible. He has previously made similar claims on social media.

SSP denies receiving complaint

Meanwhile, Mathura SSP Shlok Kumar stated that he has not received any complaint in this regard, nor has he met with Ashutosh Brahmachari. He added that no formal complaint has been received by the police in this matter.

Rambhadracharya said, “I am afraid of Ashutosh”

Earlier, Jagadguru Rambhadracharya had responded to Ashutosh’s allegations, saying that attempts were being made to tarnish his image and that of his successor. He stated that he felt threatened after learning of Ashutosh’s statements and his criminal history. He also demanded an impartial investigation into the matter and said that whatever is appropriate under the law should be done.
