Night temperatures drop in Punjab, day normal: temperatures to fall further in the coming days.

Currently, maximum temperatures in Punjab remain close to normal. However, minimum temperatures are below normal. There will be no significant change in the weather in the coming week, and the likelihood of rain will be low. Therefore, normal weather is expected.

On Saturday, the average maximum temperature in Punjab increased by 0.2°C, bringing the state’s average temperature close to normal. The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded in Bathinda at 30.1°C. The average minimum temperature dropped by 0.4°C, placing it 2.6°C below normal. The lowest minimum temperature was recorded in Faridkot at 5°C.
Nights will be cooler.

According to the Meteorological Center, temperatures will range from 24-26°C in the northern and eastern districts, and 26-28°C in the rest of the country. Maximum temperatures are expected to remain near normal levels across the state this week. On the other hand, they will be between 6-8°C in the northern and southwestern districts, and between 8-10°C in other parts.

Minimum temperatures will be below normal across most of the state, with only some central and eastern areas likely to remain near normal. According to the India Meteorological Department, there is little chance of rainfall in Punjab this week, and the weather will remain relatively cool. Overall, maximum temperatures across the state will be slightly above normal and minimum temperatures below normal, making it feel cold but not severe.
