BJP Chief Nitin Nabin Hoists Tricolour at Delhi Residence, Urges People to Join Campaign

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Nabin hoisted the Tricolour at his Delhi residence on Thursday as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign ahead of Independence Day.

Nabin also clicked a selfie with the national flag and urged people across the country to participate in the campaign by hoisting the Tricolour at their homes.

Nitin Nabin Urges People to Join Har Ghar Tiranga

Taking to social media, Nabin said he hoisted the Tricolour at his residence following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.

He urged citizens to become part of the campaign and display the national flag at their homes as a mark of respect and pride for the country.

The BJP president also encouraged people to click pictures with the Tricolour and share them on social media using the hashtag #HarGharTiranga, with the aim of turning the campaign into a public participation movement.

Amit Shah, Other Ministers Participate

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also hoisted the Tricolour at his residence and highlighted the campaign’s role in strengthening patriotic sentiment among citizens.

Several other Union Ministers have also participated in events linked to the campaign. Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu flagged off a Tiranga Rally on Thursday as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative.

Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Ahead of Independence Day

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign was launched under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to encourage citizens to bring the national flag home and hoist it in celebration of India’s Independence Day.

As India prepares to celebrate its 80th Independence Day, this year’s campaign also has a special focus on commemorating 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’.
