BJP National President Nitin Nabin Begins Two-Day Uttar Pradesh Visit Ahead of 2027 Assembly Polls

Lucknow: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin will begin a two-day organisational visit to Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, focusing on strengthening the party’s organisational structure and reviewing preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

The visit, scheduled for July 4 and 5 after being rescheduled from July 3 and 4, is expected to play a key role in shaping the BJP’s election strategy in India’s most politically significant state.

Focus on Organisation and Election Strategy

Nitin Nabin is scheduled to arrive at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow at around 11 a.m., where party workers will receive him. A roadshow has also been planned from the airport to the BJP state headquarters, with party workers expected to gather at several locations along the route.

At the party headquarters, the BJP chief will chair a meeting with state office-bearers, regional presidents, morcha chiefs and district presidents. Discussions are expected to focus on organisational expansion, upcoming party programmes, booth-level strengthening and preparations for the 2027 Assembly elections.

Meetings With CM Yogi, NDA Leaders

During the visit, Nabin will hold meetings with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Chief Ministers, BJP MPs, MLAs, MLCs and senior party leaders. He will also interact with leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to discuss coordination and future political strategy in the state.

The BJP chief is also scheduled to address the Shakti Kendra Convenor Conference of the Awadh region, where strengthening the party’s grassroots network and improving booth-level mobilisation are expected to be among the key agenda items.

Temple Visit and Public Outreach

As part of his itinerary, Nitin Nabin will offer prayers at the Shri Hanuman Setu Temple in Lucknow before attending a series of organisational meetings. Later in the evening, he is scheduled to interact with prominent personalities from different fields at the residence of Padma Shri awardee Dr Vidya Bindu Singh, followed by a dinner meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

On Sunday, the BJP president will begin the day with a tea interaction with former Uttar Pradesh BJP presidents before holding a joint meeting with NDA leaders.

Significance of the Visit

The BJP’s organisational outreach comes as political parties have begun preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Party leaders are expected to review booth-level performance, strengthen coordination among party workers and finalise strategies aimed at expanding the BJP’s organisational network across the state in the coming months.
