Karnal: Speaking in Karnal, Haryana, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that ongoing global conflicts and geopolitical tensions could pose risks to the supply of petroleum products and gas. He noted that since India depends on imports, disruptions in war-affected regions may impact supply chains worldwide.

Government Assures Stable Current Situation

Despite global uncertainties, the minister reassured that there is no immediate concern. He stated that the current supply of fuel and gas remains stable, and there is “no problem” at present, urging citizens not to panic.

India Prepared for Any Future Challenges

Emphasising preparedness, he said the government has taken comprehensive measures to ensure energy security. India has sufficient reserves of essential fuels such as petrol and LPG, and is ready to handle any unforeseen disruptions effectively.

Focus on Self-Reliance and Energy Security

Highlighting the vision of Narendra Modi, the minister said that the push for Aatmanirbhar Bharat aims to strengthen domestic capabilities and reduce dependence on imports. He added that while India continues global trade, it is fully capable of managing even adverse situations.

Reiterating his message, the Union Minister assured that India is prepared on all fronts and that there is no need for alarm, as the government is equipped to handle any challenges related to fuel supply.
