    3. Vehicles should only be parked in designated parking areas. Do not park on sidewalks, cycle tracks, or main roads.

    4. A special drive will be conducted against those violating traffic rules on New Year’s Eve. Strict action will be taken against offenders, and their driving licenses may also be suspended.

    5. Strict action will be taken against those drinking alcohol in public places, creating noise disturbances such as loud music/firecrackers from vehicles, or engaging in unruly behavior.

    6. Special checkpoints and surprise checks will be conducted to apprehend those driving under the influence of alcohol.

    7. Chandigarh Police personnel will manage traffic and assist the public. We regret any inconvenience caused by these restrictions. The Chandigarh Traffic Police appeals for everyone’s cooperation.
