    Noida youth dies after falling from 43rd floor of Supernova building

    Noida: A young man died after falling from the 43rd floor of the Supernova building in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida on Saturday, with police investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

    The incident took place at the Aspire Tower of the Supernova society in Noida Sector 94. According to reports, the youth was staying at an Airbnb in the Supernova complex.

    Police investigate circumstances

    Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.

    The identity of the deceased and the reason behind the incident had not been officially disclosed at the time of filing the report.

    A video of the incident has also circulated on social media. Authorities have not confirmed the circumstances shown in the video.

    Claim about depression not verified

    According to media reports quoting an AC mechanic who allegedly tried to stop the youth, the man had said that he was depressed before the incident. However, this claim has not been independently verified.

    Police are continuing their investigation to establish what led to the incident.

    Earlier suicide case in Greater Noida

    In a separate incident reported last month, a first-year MCA student died by suicide at his residence in Sector Alpha-2 under the jurisdiction of Beta-2 Police Station in Greater Noida.

    Police identified the deceased as Abhishek, son of Umesh Chandra, a resident of Kasganj district. He had been living in Noida for about a month and was pursuing his first-year MCA course through online classes.

    Police and a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team inspected the scene, while the body was sent for post-mortem examination. The reason behind his death was not known at the time of the report.
