Rohtak Accident: Security Guard Dies After Pickup Truck Hits Scooter on Highway 152D

Rohtak: A security guard died after his scooter was hit by a pickup truck on the Narnaul-Ambala Highway (152D) in Rohtak on Sunday morning. The deceased, identified as Krishna, a resident of Bohar village’s Pana Bhopana, was on his way to work when the accident took place.

According to the information available, Krishna had left his home on his scooter to report for duty as a security guard. When he reached Highway 152D, a speeding pickup truck collided with his scooter, leaving him fatally injured.

After receiving information about the accident, Kalanaur police reached the spot and took possession of the body. The body was later shifted to the PGI mortuary for a post-mortem examination.

Security guard left home at 4 AM for duty

Krishna’s son, Rakesh, said his father had left home around 4 a.m. to go to work, as he did every day.

Rakesh said the family was informed by police about the accident. When he reached the spot, he found that his father had died in the collision.

The incident has left the family in shock, as Krishna had left home in the early hours to carry out his daily work routine.

Pickup truck driver booked after fatal accident

Kalanaur Station House Officer (SHO) Ravindra Kumar said police received information about a fatal road accident on Highway 152D and immediately reached the location.

Police took custody of the body and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. Following the post-mortem examination, the body was handed over to the family.

A case has been registered against the pickup truck driver based on a complaint filed by Krishna’s son. Police are investigating the accident and further action will follow based on the findings.
