Online Registration for Char Dham Yatra begins today

Online registration for the Char Dham Yatra will begin today, allowing pilgrims to secure their slots for the annual pilgrimage in Uttarakhand. Authorities said devotees planning to visit the four sacred shrines Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath  can complete the registration process through the official tourism portal or other designated platforms

Officials said registration is mandatory for all pilgrims to ensure better crowd management, safety, and smooth movement during the pilgrimage season. The system helps authorities monitor the number of visitors and provide assistance in case of emergencies in the Himalayan region.

The pilgrimage is expected to begin in April with the opening of temple gates, and authorities have advised devotees to register early to avoid last-minute inconvenience and secure their travel dates.
