US Action Against Indian Gangsters

For the first time, the United States has launched a major campaign against gangsters who plot murders and demand ransoms. This is a first. It has been named Operation Hardball. This operation is not aimed at anti-India terrorists operating or hiding abroad, but rather at gangsters who demand ransoms and then commit murders if they fail to pay.

Currently, three gangs operate from the United States. The largest gang is that of Lawrence Bishnoi. His associate, Goldy Brar, is roaming free. The FBI has announced a reward of 4.7 million rupees for his capture. It is strange that Lawrence Bishnoi, sitting in Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati Jail, is controlling the gang from North America through Goldy Brar. This operation has suddenly revealed two things. First, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau accused India of the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar last year. This accusation has been cleared up, as the FBI has declared that Lawrence Bishnoi orchestrated the murder, and that India had no involvement. Trudeau even strained his relations with India over this issue.

Secondly, surprisingly, this international gang is being run by a criminal based in India, and some police officers are also involved. Therefore, this operation has also exposed a police-gangster nexus. The FBI has also accused SHO Gurdeep Singh Nagra of Tanda Police Station in Hoshiarpur of demanding a ransom of Rs.3.25 crore from an NRI family. Following the FBI’s chargesheet, the Punjab Police placed the officer on suspension and handed over the investigation to Jalandhar Superintendent of Police Vineet Ahrawat. The investigation has now begun.

SHO Nagra’s call details, WhatsApp chats, and the bank accounts of his relatives are also being scrutinized. An investigation is underway to determine how many other police officers besides Nagra are tainted. But it’s strange that the US FBI is reporting that some of our police officers are in cahoots with gangsters.
