Indian Army to Mark First Anniversary of Operation Sindoor in Jaipur; Rajnath Singh, Service Chiefs to Attend

The Indian Army will celebrate the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor in Jaipur. A program will be held on Thursday at the Southwestern Command located in Jaipur. To participate in this, the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh along with the chiefs of all three services will come to Jaipur. Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan may also be present at the event. During this time, a film related to the operation will also be released.

The Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor against Pakistan on May 7, 2025. At that time, due to the long border with Pakistan, the presence of military installations, and the sensitivity of the border districts, the main center of Operation Sindoor was Rajasthan. In this context, the army has again chosen Rajasthan to celebrate the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor.

Film related to the operation will be released

In Jaipur, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will address the media at 12 noon on Thursday at the Sapt Shakti Command in Khatipura along with the heads of the three forces. Meanwhile, at 5 pm, the film related to Operation Sindoor will be released. According to official sources, many shots of this film are real, which were shot during Operation Sindoor.

Army Day parade was organized

This year, the army had also chosen Jaipur for the Army Day parade. The Army Day parade was organized on January 15 on Mahal Road in Jagatpura. For the first time, this parade took place outside the army area among the general public.

The bravery and heroism of the Indian armed forces were witnessed by the whole world in the parade. Soldiers marching on the streets of Jaipur, tanks, helicopters, and display of the army’s advanced weapons were showcased.
