Success in Operation Trackdown: Haryana Police opens 81 history sheets in a day, 98 notorious criminals arrested

Operation Trackdown has achieved its biggest success yet in cracking down on criminals. In this single-day operation, police registered 75 cases and arrested 98 notorious criminals, sending them behind bars. Additionally, 256 criminals involved in other crimes were also sent to jail.

The state police opened history sheets for 81 criminals in a single day. This represents a significant increase from the total history sheets opened in the last 12 days (179), bringing the total to 260.

A total of 768 notorious criminals have been apprehended under Operation Trackdown, and the police have also arrested 2,980 criminals for other crimes.

The contributions of various districts to the success of this operation have been commendable. Jhajjar district led the way in apprehending notorious criminals, securing the top spot with 21 arrests in 18 cases.

This was followed by Karnal (9), Kaithal (8), and Rohtak (8). In terms of opening history sheets, Sonipat district has demonstrated its promptness by opening the highest number of history sheets for 26 criminals. Furthermore, Rohtak has opened history sheets for 16 criminals, and Gurugram for 11 criminals, making significant progress in curbing organized crime.
