Operation Trackdown: Member of Neeraj Faridpuria gang carrying reward of Rs 50,000 arrested

As part of Haryana Police’s special statewide operation, Operation Trackdown, the police continued to tighten its grip on criminal elements and arrested two notorious criminals on November 9th. One of them is a criminal carrying a reward of ₹50,000, while the other is an active member of the Neeraj Faridpuria gang.

Faridabad Police arrested Kuldeep Tyagi, an active member of the Neeraj Faridpuria gang. The accused, Kuldeep Tyagi, son of Suresh Tyagi, a resident of Gudasan, Tigaon Police Station (Faridabad), has 12 previous convictions for heinous crimes. He is charged under various sections of the IPC, including sections 25, 54, and 59A of the Indian Penal Code, in case number 34, registered at Palwal City Police Station on January 22, 2025.

According to the police, Kuldeep, on the instructions of gang leader Neeraj Faridpuria, provided funds and shelter to gang members and was also involved in the supply of illegal weapons. Police arrested him on Saturday and took him on remand after presenting him before the court on Sunday.

Under Operation Trackdown, conducted by the Haryana Police from November 5th to November 20th, 161 notorious and wanted criminals have been arrested so far. In addition to these, 994 other accused have been arrested. On November 8th alone, various teams across the state apprehended 226 criminals, including 51 wanted and wanted criminals and 175 other accused.
