Orleans Masters: Tanvi to face Okuhara in semifinals, Israni also in last four

New Delhi: India’s Tanvi Sharma will face former world champion Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in the women’s singles semifinals at the Orleans Masters badminton event today at the Palais des Sports in France. Tanvi defeated sixth-seeded Natsuki Nidaira of Japan 21-14, 21-14 in the quarterfinals.

Indian men’s doubles pair eliminated from the tournament
Earlier in the day, Indian men’s doubles pair Arjun Madathil Ramachandran and Hariharan Amsakarunan lost 12-21, 20-22 to Indonesia’s Bagus Maulana and Leo Carnando, ending their campaign.
