24-year-old youth dies in road accident near Sidhwan Kalan, Jagraon

Jagraon, August 15: A road accident took place on Thursday late at night near Sidhwan Kalan village near Chowkiman in Jagraon, Ludhiana. A car lost its balance while overtaking a truck. Due to which the car collided with the truck. After the accident, a crowd of passersby gathered at the spot and pulled the young man out of the car.

He was immediately taken to the civil hospital. Where, after a checkup, the doctors declared the young man dead. He was identified from the mobile phone and other documents found with him. After which, his family members were contacted. On the basis of the statements of the family members, the police got the postmortem done on Friday and handed over the body to the family. The police are taking further action in the case.

Pali was a trader by profession

According to the information received, the deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Pali, a resident of Geeta Colony, Jagraon. Pali used to do trading in the share market. He had gone to Ludhiana on Thursday for some work. At night, he was returning from Ludhiana to Jagraon in his i-20 car.

While overtaking a truck near Sidhwan Kalan village near Chowkiman, his car collided with the truck. People immediately rushed Pali, who was seriously injured in the accident, to the government hospital. But the doctors declared him dead.
