Panic spread in Shimla after miscreants vandalized cars by breaking glass windows

Last night, unknown people broke the glass of the windows of 10 to 12 vehicles in Himachal’s capital, Shimla. The miscreants targeted the vehicles parked on the roadside in Dhingudhar Colony of Shimla’s suburb Sanjauli.

This incident was reported around 12:30 on Wednesday night when unknown miscreants, while targeting the parked cars, broke glass of the windows. It is being said that three to four miscreants have carried out this misconduct.

This morning, when people saw their damaged vehicles, they informed the police about it. Dhali police is now searching CCTV footage in the colony. The accused will be identified through these, claimed police.

Questions raised on police patrolling

The place where this incident was carried out in Shimla is about 250 meters away from the Sanjauli police post and about 300 meters away from the Dhali police station. In such a situation, this act of the miscreants is also a big question on the night patrolling of the police.

Police will soon trace the accused – SHO

SHO Dhali Virlochan Negi said that the police team has gone to the spot. It is being investigated who carried out this incident. CCTV footage is being examined.
