Incident at Chhatrasal Stadium During Delhi Khel Mahakumbh

Parmish Verma was performing at the opening ceremony of the “Delhi Khel Mahakumbh” held at Chhatrasal Stadium on the evening of February 13. The event began at 5 p.m., and while entry was free, prior registration was mandatory.

According to reports, the show drew a massive crowd, with fans gathering in large numbers to watch the performance.

Fans Broke Barricades, Argument Escalated

As Parmish began singing, some fans allegedly broke through barricades and moved closer to the stage. Security personnel attempted to control the crowd, but jostling broke out as several fans reportedly tried to take selfies with the singer.

Amid the chaos, Parmish stopped the song and asked the crowd to step back. It is alleged that during this time, a fan made a derogatory comment, which led to Parmish confronting him and slapping him before asking others to maintain distance.

The argument escalated further, with a group of fans and the singer engaging in a heated exchange near the side of the stage.

Police and Security Step In

As tensions rose, Delhi Police personnel present at the venue, along with Parmish Verma’s private security guards, intervened to defuse the situation. The crowd was eventually brought under control, and the event proceeded.

Previous Incident During Film Shoot

Five months ago, Parmish Verma was injured during the shooting of his upcoming Punjabi film Shera in Ambala, Haryana.

During a scene near a church in a military area, a fake bullet was fired at his car as part of the shoot. The impact shattered the vehicle’s glass, and fragments reportedly struck Parmish’s face, causing injuries. He was admitted to a private hospital for treatment.

The film Shera, in which Parmish plays the lead role, is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on May 15, 2026.
