Singer Parmish Verma’s manager gets threat; Rs 10 crore extortion demanded

Ludhiana: A case of extortion of ₹10 crore has come to light in which calls from foreign numbers, purportedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, have been made to the business manager of famous Punjabi singer and actor Parmish Verma. The accused have threatened to kill Parmish Verma and his entire family if the money is not paid.

Ludhiana’s Sarabha Nagar police have registered a case against an unknown person and initiated an investigation. In a complaint to the police, Harvinder Singh alias Hardy, a resident of Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar (BRS Nagar), stated that he runs a private business and has been managing all of singer Parmish Verma’s business for a long time.

According to Hardy, he has been receiving threats from various international numbers (+16465163122, +13026102044, +18256054311, +13025561010) since February 14, 2026. The caller identified himself as Harry Boxer and claimed to be a member of the dreaded Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Threat by Harry Boxer 

The victim reported that the accused, Harry Boxer, used extremely threatening language on the phone. He stated that if singer Parmish Verma wanted to protect himself and his children, he should arrange for 10 crore rupees.

The accused even claimed to have complete information and locations about Hardy’s two children, his wife, his elderly parents, and even his relatives. He clearly stated that if he did not receive the money, he would eliminate the entire family.

FIR at Sarabha Nagar Station 

Frightened by the threats, Harvinder Singh went to Sarabha Nagar police station and recorded his statement with ASI Jaswinder Singh. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police have registered a case against the unknown attacker under sections 308(2) and 351(3) of the Indian Penal Code.
