Parshuram Jayanti Celebrations in Jalandhar, CM Mann Launches 4 New Routes Under the Pilgrimage Scheme

Jalandhar: A state-level religious ceremony was held on Saturday night at the Sai Das School grounds to mark Lord Parshuram Jayanti. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, and senior leader Manish Sisodia, along with several other dignitaries, attended the event. Religious singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi enthralled the devotees with his devotional bhajans.

Four New Routes Added to Pilgrimage Scheme
During the ceremony, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced the expansion of the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme. Senior citizens will now be able to access free pilgrimages to Haridwar, Mathura-Vrindavan, Shri Khatu Shyam Ji, and Salasar Balaji Dham. The Chief Minister stated that devotees will not incur any expenses.

Kejriwal said – Jalandhar was chosen thoughtfully
Arvind Kejriwal said that holding the state-level celebration of Lord Parshuram Jayanti in Jalandhar was a special decision. He said that Jalandhar is known for its rich culture, heritage, and spiritual identity. Such events strengthen brotherhood and religious harmony in society.

No place for hatred in Punjab: Mann
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that everything can flourish on the land of Punjab, but not hatred. He said that Punjab has always preached communal harmony and brotherhood. The state government is committed to giving equal respect to all religions.

The venue resounded with hymns
Hansraj Raghuvanshi performed several hymns, including “Mera Bhola Hai Bhandari,” at the event. Devotees enthusiastically participated, chanting “Har Har Mahadev” and “Jai Shri Ram.” A large number of people from the Sant Samaj and various walks of life attended the event.
