Passport Adalat to be held in Jalandhar on November 12; Check details

A Passport Adalat will be held at the Jalandhar Passport Office on November 12th. This court aims to assist applicants whose passport applications are pending due to incomplete formalities or other reasons.

Regional Passport Officer Yashpal explained that this initiative is open to all categories of applicants who applied for passports on or before August 31, 2025, but whose applications have not yet been processed.

Hearings from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The official stated that eligible applicants can arrive at the Passport Office (SCO No. 42-51, Pocket 1, near Bus Stand, Jalandhar) on November 12th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with all the required documents.

The Ministry of External Affairs has not engaged any intermediaries

Yashpal also clarified that the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has not authorized any private agency or intermediary to process passport applications. He urged citizens to apply only through the Ministry’s official website, www.passportindia.gov.in. He advised them to bring their passport-related documents with them. Do not apply through any private agency or agent.
