Passport Adalat in Jalandhar on 17th December; disposal of applications before October 31

The Jalandhar Passport Office will hold a Passport Adalat on December 17th to resolve pending passport applications for all categories, according to Regional Passport Officer Yash Pal. He stated that the court will be held at the Regional Passport Office, S.C.O. No. 42-51, Pocket 1, near the bus stand.

The official stated that all applications submitted on or before October 31st, 2025, whose files were pending for some reason, will be resolved. He appealed to all applicants who applied on or before October 31st to reach the Passport Office on December 17th, 2025, between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., with the required documents, to resolve their pending applications.

He also clarified that the Ministry of External Affairs has not authorized any agency or intermediary to provide passport-related services. The public is urged to submit passport applications only through the Ministry’s official website, www.passportindia.gov.in, and not to fall prey to agents or middlemen. Applicants may contact the passport office directly for any information.
