Young Man Attacked With Sickle After Dhaba Argument Dies on Way to Hospital in Pathankot; Friend Critically Injured

A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death with sharp weapons in Pathankot. At the same time, one of his friends was seriously injured by hitting him in the head. He was admitted to the civil hospital in Pathankot, from where his family took him to a private hospital.

His condition remains critical there. The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar, a resident of village Taluka of Narot Jaimal Singh. At the same time, the name of the injured youth is Tanuj (21). He is also a resident of this village.

It is being told that there was an argument with some people while eating at their dhaba. After this, the incident took place. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

A quarrel broke out after an argument at the dhaba

The incident took place in Narot Jaimal Singh area of Pathankot. Ravindra Kumar, brother-in-law of the deceased, said that late on Friday night, both Rajkumar and Tanuj had reached a dhaba in Road Jamal Singh for dinner. There were already some people sitting there. Both of them got into an argument about something.

After this, they attacked Rajkumar and Tanuj. The said people killed both of them. Both Rajkumar and Tanuj were badly injured in the attack. Family members say that Rajkumar had deep wounds on his head, stomach, chest, neck and legs. Whereas, Tanuj has a deep wound on his head with a sickle.
