Patna: Three dead, four missing as boat capsizes in Ganga River

Patna: At least three people were killed and four others went missing after a boat carrying around 14 passengers capsized in the Ganga river in Bihar’s Patna district on Thursday, officials said.

The incident occurred in the Barh subdivision area, where the boat reportedly overturned midstream. Rescue operations have been launched by local authorities and disaster response teams to trace the missing persons.

Search Operation Underway

According to preliminary information, several passengers were heading towards riverine agricultural fields when the accident took place. Police and administration officials are monitoring the situation and search operations are underway.
