Ropeway collapse in Gujarat’s Pavagadh kills 6, including 2 lift operators

New Delhi, Sep 6: Six people, including two lift operators, were killed when a ropeway carrying construction materials collapsed in Gujarat’s Pavagadh on Saturday. Four others were injured in the accident. The ropeway was being used at a temple construction site atop the hill, a location known for its revered Shaktipeeth.

Construction had been going on at the site for a temple atop the hill in Pavagadh, the place of the popular Shaktipeeth.
